How Anthropic's designers work with Claude Code
PLUS: Claude turned my website into a launch video
Hey there,
Anthropic's own designers just showed how they work with Claude Code.
I think it's the clearest preview of where our job is heading. Here's what's inside this week:
- New video: Claude Code vs Codex for designers
- Big news: how Anthropic's design team works with Claude Code
- The toolkit: a site-to-prompt extension, a design skill and a component marketplace
- Tutorial: turn your website into a launch video with Claude Code
THIS WEEK'S VIDEO
Claude Code vs Codex for Designers
I put Claude Code, Codex and Grok side by side to see which one a designer should actually use.
WHAT I'M BUILDING
New island, same mission

This week I had one goal. I wanted to connect with as many creators and business owners as possible.
I'm building two products for designers and builders.
I'm now talking with people at some big companies about deals for both. Some creators might post about them, and some businesses might use them every day.
I'm doing all of it from Uluwatu, in Bali, where I'll spend Q4. I came here last year, so my routine is already set.
The answers so far have been very positive. Every piece of feedback goes straight into the products.
BIG NEWS
How the Claude Code design team actually works
This week, Designer Fund went inside Anthropic's design team, the people who design Claude and Claude Code.
Their engineers now move about 10 times faster. Design only got 3 to 5 times faster, so the hard part moved from building to deciding.
Every designer opens a pull request in their first week. They hand engineers working prototypes instead of mockups.
Meaghan Choi leads design for Claude Code. She saved her process as Claude skills, and her /prototype skill builds five clickable versions of any idea.
Claude recommends the strongest one, and Meaghan makes the final call. One designer's internal tool even became Claude Design.
When anything can be built in days, the real question is whether it's worth building at all.
That's the part I find most interesting. The AI makes the options, and the designer brings the taste.
Try it: Write your design process down once as a Claude skill.
Then ask it for five versions of your next screen, and pick the one worth shipping.
THE TOOLKIT
One tool, one skill and one library
Tool · Siteprint
Free + Pro · Safari extension
It measures any website's colors, type scale, spacing and layout. For a one-time $9.99, Pro turns all of it into one prompt or a DESIGN.md file for Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
Skill · Impeccable
Free · Open source
Version 4.5 just shipped. It gives your AI 24 design commands like critique, audit and polish, and you now pick a direction from sketches instead of text.
Library · 21st.dev
Free + Pro · React marketplace
It's a huge community library of React components, templates and shadcn themes. Every component comes with a prompt you can hand straight to your AI.

TUTORIAL OF THE WEEK
Turn your website into a launch video
Three months ago, I paid a motion designer $2,000 for a launch video.
Now people say Claude can make one from just your website. So I tested it with Claude Code and the Limora AI site.
Step 1 · Set up Claude Code
Open Claude Code and select Opus 5.5. Then set the effort to Ultracode so it takes its time.

Step 2 · Paste the prompt
Paste the prompt and drop in your site URL. Claude pulls your real logo, colors and fonts from it.

Step 3 · Let Claude check its work
Claude renders contact sheets of its own frames and fixes the weakest ones before it shows you anything. The result was impressive.

READERS BUILD
Logopack turns one SVG into a full logo pack
This week's build comes from Iggy, a reader who makes tools for brand designers.
Logopack converts your SVG logo into PNG, JPG, WEBP and PDF files. You also get RGB and CMYK palettes and a detailed logo guide.
Built something with AI?
Reply to this email with a link and I'll feature it here for free. Yes, for free, in front of nearly 8,000 designers and builders.
Quick links
- Nano Banana 2.1: Google's new image model, with mask edits and much better text.
- Claude Haiku 5.5: Anthropic's fastest model, about 75% cheaper than Haiku 4.5.
- Midjourney Thinking Mode: it checks where an image missed your prompt, then makes it again.
- Midjourney Shared Folders: share a moodboard with clients and let them generate into it.
- Claude in Google Slides: a Claude sidebar that edits your Docs, Sheets and Slides.
One question for you:
Would you rather design in Figma or straight in code?
Hit reply and tell me. I read every answer.
Know someone who should read this? Forward it, or send them to logiaweb.net.
See you next Monday,
Adrien
